The Grahaminator at 10 months

What this month really looked like! Ha.

Weight: No idea, but we still haven't found a food this little chubster doesn't like! You can't look at him without being reminded of God's goodness. So hard to believe he was ever severely underweight!

Height: ?

Clothing size: 9 months... but we will switch to 12 months soon. It's almost time.

Diaper size: Cloth... ?

Feeding: He gets about 26 oz of formula/ day in 4 bottles, plus a lot of solid foods... We'll drop a bottle soon.

Sleeping: Same as last month... Bedtime is around 8pm now, and he naps 2 times a day (3 hours ish total). 

Milestones: Getting over separation anxiety (kind of)... Feeding himself. Scooting forward/ taking a few crawling "steps". Sippy cup. Standing up for a while holding onto things.

Likes: Eating!!! Ha. Being outside, swinging especially. 

       

Dislikes: The church nursery. :(

Adventures: Ummm being homeless this entire month was enough of an adventure. Seriously. Road trip to Memphis. The fair. Lots of picnics in the park. Walks on the Monon. The Canal downtown.

Remember those 2 weeks we lived on the front porch??

My favorite part of parenting this age: Seeing him learn new things. Seeing him warm up to new people.

The hardest part of parenting this age: Being homeless. :/

G money's first trip to Memphis!

I started this post a month ago, but just now finally finished. G's Memphis trip in pic's!!
We were so excited to take Graham to Memphis for the first time, see sweet friends, and watch my old roomie Adrianne walk down the aisle!!! It was such an awesome trip, and Graham did wayyyyy better than we expected traveling so far in the car, sleeping in the Pack 'n Play, and warming up to all his new friends!

This girl got MARRIED!!!!! Miss her SO much.

The Grahaminator at 9 months!

Weight: 20 lbs, 7 oz. Say what??!!!! That put him in the 50th percentile!! Who is this kid??

Height: 26 inches. 50th percentile also.

Clothing size: 9 months.

Diaper size: Cloth, but size 3 or 4.

Feeding: He gets about 26 oz of formula/ day in 4 bottles, plus a lot of solid foods... I stopped pureeing his food at 8 months, so this month has been full of smashed fruits, veggies, cheese, bread, chicken, really almost anything now. He is not a fan of Cheerio's and is a completely lazy eater--he wants me to feed him everything and does not like to chew. Ha. And he tried wheat and had no reaction!!!! So he may be diagnosed with Celiac's disease later on, but for now we're good to go! I was pleasantly shocked.

Sleeping: Bedtime is around 8pm now, and he naps 2 times a day (3 hours ish total). 

Milestones: He said "Dada" for the first time!!!! Of course he's just putting those sounds together for the first time, but Andrew was holding him, so we'll count it! So, so cute. First crush (our neighbor Charlotte). Still rocking and scooting backwards, but no crawling. First tantrums. :( Is this normal??!! Still in separation anxiety. :(

Dislikes: Being held by anyone other than Mommy or Daddy. :(

Adventures: Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A. Neighborhood cookout. Watching Daddy do lots of house/ backyard projects. And getting kicked out of the house a couple times thanks to DIY projects gone wrong... Ha. Good thing we have AMAZING neighbors and friends!!! Lots of trips to the library for the summer reading program. First time on a boat! Swinging in the backyard on his very own swingset! 

None of the workers noticed he was dressed as a horse... for Cow Appreciation Day.  :/

What we couldn't live with out: Still THE ERGO. Seriously. And lately his jumper-exersaucer (not even sure what these are called). And, especially this month, awesome neighbors and friends!!!

My favorite part of parenting this age: Loving this age. So.much.personality!!

The hardest part of parenting this age: Not being able to let anyone else hold him. :(

The Grahaminator at 8 months

Weight: For the first time in a really long time, I don't know his weight... and I'm not worried about it. This boy is a chunk lately!! We'll find out at his 9 month checkup.

Height: No idea.

Clothing size: 9 months!! 

Diaper size: Cloth, but size 3 I think.

Feeding: He gets about 29 oz of formula/ day in 4 bottles, plus 3 servings of solid foods... which he now LOVES.

Sleeping: Bedtime is around 7.30pm now, and naps 2 times a day. It was a rough transition dropping the 3rd nap, and we're still experimenting with his bedtime...

Milestones: 2nd tooth. Scooting backwards! In the video below, he looks so calculated as he scoots, but he's usually just all over the place. :)

The day Daddy lost 3 wisdom teeth, Graham cut his 2nd tooth,
and Mommy lost her mind. :)

Likes: The Ergo!! And basically the same things as last time- being outside, snuggling, moving, and being sung to. He likes being on the floor a TON more now that he can scoot! And we'll add eating to the list!! So happy this is true now. And some random things make him smile super big or die laughing- Going up and down the stairs inside (being held), and bouncing up and down the stairs outside in his stroller. He also really likes this one picture of me and Andrew on the refrigerator. He loves to hear the sounds "mamamamama" and "dadadadada" but hasn't said them himself yet. He loves silly-ness and giggles all the time now when Andrew and I are really silly and expressive with him. So, so fun. And we discovered the other day he thinks it's HILARIOUS when I twirl an umbrella. Ha. Dislikes: Not being held. Being tired. The church nursery. :( 

Adventures: First Father's Day. Road trip to St. Louis to see friends and Robinson to see Andrew's family. Nonnie and Poppy visit. Hiking.

The hardest part of parenting this age: It really is hard to say anything is hard now, after going through the horrible lack of weight gain months... Ugh. But his second tooth coming in at the same time as Andrew losing wisdom teeth wasn't very fun.
