Baby #2!!!!!

Here we go again! We are beyond excited that Baby #2 is on the way and are so happy we hit the 12 week mark so we can talk about it now!! It's hard to even put into words, but we are overwhelmed with awe and wonder and gratitude and JOY as God knits this little one inside me!! And I have also been overwhelmed with all that goes with the first trimester of pregnancy, physically and emotionally. :/ I didn't start feeling better until week 14 with Graham, and I am absolutely looking forward to second trimester bliss!! This pregnancy is already sooooo different than the first one for many reasons, so we are convinced it's a girl! Two more months before we find out for sure. :)

Last time around, I took the test by myself and surprised Andrew with the news.
This time, he requested to be in the process, so we found out at the same time. :)
Eeeeeeee!!!!!

Little stinker cried when I told him the news. Ha!
But apparently his Big Brother shirt helps.

Sweet thing was trying to destroy the ultrasound pic like it was wrapping paper!
Too much Christmas.
But at least he looks peaceful in this shot. :)

This summer baby will put the two siblings at 20 months apart...
Close enough to be good buddies, we hope, and close enough to ensure craziness in our house for a while!! :)

The baby bump showing itself WAY earlier than it did with G!
I'm 12 weeks here, without time or energy to make a cute sign or find the produce matching the baby size. :)
Baby #2 is the size of a plum this week!

Christmas!!!!

As always, Christmas is really a month-long celebration, as it should be... Here are some highlights. We started with an ugly sweater party...

Memaw and Pepaw came to visit a couple weeks before Christmas... G loved all his snuggles and gifts!

We spent the weekend before Christmas with Andrew's family in Illinois, celebrating with presents and food and announcing our pregnancy! Graham is really into wrapping paper this year, so he loved getting presents... Usually not noticing what was inside, but ripping up all the paper was awesome! :)

Second cousins... typical play time. :)

Lovings from Stacey.

Practicing walking with Aunt Kristie.

All smiles when ripping off the wrapping paper. :)

Bash helping G figure out his awesome new car garage.
Always my favorite date night of the year... White hot chocolate and lights downtown.

Then we spent Christmas day at home, just the 3 of us... We made some sweet memories together and made more Baby #2 announcements. :)

Christmas Eve after an awesome service celebrating Jesus' birth!
Christmas morning..
smiling not because of presents but because he loooooves pulling off his socks lately.

Annual family pic with the carrot. Ha.
This kid has brought us so much joy!!
Forever thankful to the Giver of all good and perfect gifts.

Thanksgiving in Tennessee!

Most of these are from my Mom's camera. I always wish I'd taken more, but we had a great time eating lots of turkey with my family!

Graham lovin on his Great Grandmom.

Probably my favorite pic from this trip.

Graham looooooved his Uncle David.

These were incredibly hilarious.

I mean....

Lots of play time with this little cousin cutie.

Family Photo Shoot

We just headed to a beautiful college campus in our city, and set the timer for these ourselves. We were pretty happy with how they turned out!! Love this time in my life. :)

G-money's 1st birthday bash!

Did my baby boy really just turn one?!! As Andrew and I reflected on this past year, it is undeniable that it was marked distinctly with God's goodness. During the last month of my pregnancy, there were concerns about Graham's small head size and brain development. He was born completely normal and healthy. Then there were months of agonizing as he just could not gain weight when he was just a tiny little thing. I've never cried more tears or been more scared in my life. A few months later, he exceeded the doctor's expectations and hit the 50th percentile on weight... and has remained quite the little chubster! God's mercy and love and goodness will pursue us all the days of our life! Psalm 23. We are so incredibly thankful for the gift of this little life. We love being parents and are filled with joy over Graham. People say the kid won't remember his first birthday party, which is true. But this is a huge milestone for us as parents and we wanted to celebrate! Welcome to our sweet little man's Mustache Bash!

Pretty convinced that besides his first bite of sugar,
this was his favorite birthday activity!!
